iPhone 12 mini shrinks before launch: MagSafe wireless charging power drops to 12W

The iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro were officially on sale on October 23, and the iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 12 Pro Max will now be pre-ordered on November 6.

It is worth noting that Apple has made new adjustments in the support document updated on November 2. Reduce the maximum wireless charging power of the iPhone 12 mini to 12W, while the other three models are all 15W.

This also means that even if the iPhone 12 mini uses the MagSafe wireless charger that supports up to 18W, it can only support up to 12W of charging power.

I don’t know if Apple’s sudden reduction in charging power before the iPhone 12 mini hits the market will affect its sales.
