Apple warns: MagSafe charger may leave a circular mark on the iPhone 12 leather case


Today (24th) news, a new support document released by Apple today shows that if the user puts the iPhone in the leather case when using the new MagSafe charger, the leather case may be affected by the accessories Contact and show a circular mark.

Leather cases for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro will not be available until November 6. The Apple support document also outlines other information about MagSafe chargers:

Users should not place credit cards, security badges, passports or key fobs between the iPhone and the MagSafe charger, as this may damage the magnetic strips or RFID chips in these items.

iPhone is too high when charging with MagSafe, the software may limit the charging to more than 80%.

if the iPhone is connected to the MagSafe charger and Lightning cable at the same time, it can only be charged through Lightning.

Apple said that cleaning the MagSafe charger must first disconnect the charger and remove all debris on the metal ring, and then use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the silicone in the middle of the charging area. Apple warns that window cleaners, household cleaners, sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide should not be used.
